Prepared in accordance with The Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“KVKK”)

 

1. Purpose of the Policy
This Website Privacy and Personal Data Protection Policy (“Policy”) has been prepared to inform visitors, clients, and all data subjects whose personal data are processed by the Company, regarding the methods of personal data collection, legal grounds, processing purposes, transfer processes, data subject rights, and the Company’s obligations under the KVKK.

2. Scope of the Policy
This Policy applies to all personal data processed by the Company through its website, communication channels, online forms, educational platforms, social media accounts, and other digital or physical systems used for service delivery.

3. Definitions
Within the scope of this Policy:
a. Personal Data refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
b. Processing of Personal Data refers to all operations performed on personal data such as collection, recording, storage, retention, alteration, transfer, classification, or prevention of use.
c. Data Subject refers to the natural person whose personal data is processed.
d. Data Controller refers to the person or organization that determines the purposes and means of processing personal data.

The Company processes personal data in accordance with the following principles stated in Article 4 of KVKK:

  1. Lawfulness and fairness

  2. Accuracy and up-to-dateness

  3. Processing for specific, explicit, and legitimate purposes

  4. Being relevant, limited, and proportionate

  5. Retention for the period required by relevant legislation or for the purpose for which they are processed

 

5. Legal Grounds for Processing Personal Data
Personal data is processed based on one or more of the legal bases set out in Article 5 and 6 of KVKK, including but not limited to:
a. Explicit consent of the data subject
b. Legal obligation of the Company
c. Establishment or performance of a contract
d. Protection of legitimate interests of the Company, provided fundamental rights are not violated
e. Data made public by the data subject

6. Purposes of Processing Personal Data
The Company processes personal data for the following purposes:

  • Conducting nutrition consultancy services and educational programs

  • Client appointment management, follow-up, and reporting

  • Issuing invoices, executing financial and legal transactions

  • Conducting corporate communication and customer relations

  • Improving website functionality and user experience

  • Conducting marketing, surveys, and promotional activities (only with explicit consent)

  • Compliance with national legislation, legal obligations, and authority requests

In accordance with Article 11 of KVKK, the data subject has the right to:

  • Learn whether personal data is processed

  • Request information regarding processing

  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly

  • Know domestic or international third parties to whom data is transferred

  • Request correction, deletion, or destruction of personal data

  • Request notification of such actions to third parties

  • Object to processing resulting in an unfavorable outcome

  • Request compensation for damages suffered due to unlawful processing

 

11. Application to the Data Controller
Data subjects may submit their requests regarding their rights by sending an email to [Your Official Email Address] with the subject line “KVKK Application”, or by written application to the Company’s physical address.

12. Updates and Amendments to the Policy
The Company reserves the right to update or amend this Policy in line with changes in legislation or operational needs. The updated Policy will be published on the Company’s official website.
